Maine Audubon and Wild Seed Project have teamed up to provide you all the instruction and materials you need to grow your own Maine native plants from seeds in 2021. Each kit includes all the materials you need to sow six small pots -- pots, soil, labels, etc. -- and a sample packet of seeds (choose and purchase your own additional species and packets from Wild Seed Project). We will also include a private link to a 20-minute instructional video with everything you need to know to get your seeds sown and outdoors to germinate in spring. (Bowls seen in picture not included.)
Please note: These kits will only be available through the end of January and seeds should be sown by mid February; Maine native seeds need a winter outdoors in order to germinate.
NOTE: These are pick-up only (no shipping). Please select a pick-up location above.
For pick-up at Gilsland Farm in Falmouth, use the online scheduler on this website to set up an appointment.
For pick-up at Fields Pond in Holden: pick-ups will be on Fridays and a staff member will contact you once you have placed your order, to schedule the pick-up.
